2nd Press Release

Welcome to the second Press Release of the Erasmus+ Project called “The hybrid future of scholar education. The digital skills we need to cope with complexity.” with acronym DigiComplex and Reference Number 2021-1-ES01-KA220-SCH-000027726.

There is no doubt that integrating modern digital technologies into all forms of education is a key pillar and priority of international education policy. As a result, teachers must be trained to integrate digital technologies effectively into their teaching practices in order to improve their students’ digital skills and make the learning process more enjoyable and effective. DigiComplex aims to close this gap by creating digital solutions and teacher trainings that are tailored to the present and future of hybrid education (on-site and online).

The implementation of the project is proceeding as planned, and the consortium has some interesting updates to share. The desk research has been completed, identifying the needs of the target groups and determining the five relevant topics, as well as the appropriate teaching methods and learning approaches that will be incorporated into the Curriculum & Training scheme. This is the 1st Project Result, which is being developed by the partners.

One of the project’s main output is the DigiComplex Educational Game and the consortium is working on its framework and structure. This web application, along with the e-Learning Platform and Open Education Resources will give access to any interested individual to all the OER (textbooks, presentations, multimedia, 3D objects and constructions) developed as well as the training schemes.

On the 15th of November, the partners’ 2nd TPM was held in Porto, Portugal. During the meeting, they had the opportunity to review the project’s progress and the activities carried out thus far, in addition to the administrative duties. Moreover, the development of the Project Results and the upcoming tasks necessary for the successful implementation of the project were addressed.

The dissemination of project activities is one of the consortium’s most important considerations. To that end, they have created a website and a Facebook page to promote all of their actions and materials, ensuring that their work remains visible and accessible for a long time.
